I absolutely fell in love with my 2021 Reading Journal last year! I used it all the time, and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I started making my 2022 Reading Journal a week or so ago and I’m so happy to finally share it with you!
It did take a while to make these spreads, but I love it and can’t wait to use it. I’ve got so many pictures to show you, so let’s get into it!

In April 2020, I decided I was going to keep a reading journal.
For most of my life, I’ve been writing reviews – I used to keep PowerPoints and each book would have a slide. I think this started in 2013, before I began this blog, and then my reviews transferred to Goodreads and I would post a book review for every book I read. But in 2020, the world – well, you know what happened.

How do the summer holidays always go by so fast?! Even though I am now a teacher, not a student, it still feels like the last day of school was just yesterday!
In August, I did not read as many books as I wanted to. Thought I thought it was going to be a relatively quiet month, August turned out to actually be rather hectic and busy. I did a lot of adventuring and day trips, as well as a couple of overnight trips; I finished my Masters, and my first edited novel; and I had a good time! Maybe August wasn’t as productive and book-filled as I’d expected, but sometimes that’s not a bad thing.
