Hello 2017!

Happy New Year from Sprinkled With Words! I hope you guys are ready for a good one.

Last year, I blogged half of the amount of posts in 2016 as I did in 2015 (that’s 70 to 140 if you were wondering!) and yet I still got more visitors and page views so guys, thank you so much! You guys really mean a lot to me, and I’m so thankful.

This year I want to do more posts, more adventurous and boundary-pushing posts. Exploring more writing techniques! Publishing more interesting book reviews! I was really enjoying my posting after my hiatus. I really love this blog.

So hello. This is me coming back and I hope that 2017 becomes a prosperous year for me, you, and this blog!

Happy New Year!

Setting Goals for the New Year!

setting goals for the nyAlthough technically it’s the 22nd January 2016, the New Year has yet to get fully underway, so it’s totally fine to be setting New Year goals now. Especially if you forgot (which, I’d like to point out, I didn’t but I didn’t blog about it on here, because I am not very good at that. As you well know).

Plenty of New Years posts have gone up around the web (I’ve seen so many I’ve lost track) including those resolutions. Some of them have been dedicated to write, some reading, some life in general etc. But sometimes it’s really super difficult to come up with resolutions/goals, especially if you’ve got no idea what you’re doing. SO I’M HERE TO HELP!

2014 Round-Up

Wow, it’s been another year already?! Wow. W.O.W. So, I hope your year has been fairly good! Despite grievances and bad times, we’ve managed to get through it, right, with all the happy things as well? Right. And, hopefully, we’ve come out as better people. 😀

So I think I should go through my year, huh? – well, kinda. Feel free to read, comment, comment your own or link me to your own 2014 round-up etc. etc. 🙂

So… let’s begin!

  2. Finished school and started college – without a detention and without dying.
  3. Fallen in love (ooh~).
  4. Got a job – kinda, anyway.
  5. Made new friends. 😀 And strengthened old friendships!

Top 5 Things I Want To Do Next Year

  2. Re-read Harry Potter and have a Harry Potter marathon with friends.

I’m pretty sure there’s probably other things I could put on these lists and other lists I could have but I can’t think of them right now!

Over the next year, I am going to be focussing on some New Years Resolutions, and things I want to do in 2015. What I get up to and stuff I write is going to be posted on my other blog, although I’m sure there’ll probably be a mini update on Mondays on this blog as well. Just if you’re curious. 🙂

I hope you all had a fantastic year, guys, and have a great and safe start to 2015.

And, because I love you all and don’t know if I’ve posted a picture before, have a picture of your lovely admin [hint: that’s me] being licked by her dog. IMG_2864
