I’m so excited to be sharing with you one of my favourite Books That Matter boxes so far! I’d like to apologise as I completely forgot to post my March unboxing – so check out my Instagram to see a full unboxing on there.
This box was a double-book unboxing and that made me super excited, especially when I saw that one was a Penguin Modern Classics edition that I don’t own! I am still collecting these books, and I think they make fantastic gifts, and great editions to any book box.
Without further ado, let’s jump into the unboxing!
In this box, we received…
- Books (yes, plural!)
- Conjure Women by Afia Atakora
- The Master’s Tools Will Not Dismantle The Master’s House by Audre Lorde
- A pair of socks designed by emma.make
- Two cards designed by emma.make
- Full-size lipgloss by Pink Salad Ldn
- BTM newsletter
- Conjure Women-themed bookmark and postcard
Phew! What a cool box. I thought the socks were a really great idea, as who doesn’t love warm toes when they’re reading? I also think the lipgloss is a great idea, and cosmetics aren’t normally seen in book boxes so it’s also pretty unique.
I have enjoyed the mix of fiction and non-fiction books and elements in this box. April is Black History Month, and BTM always do a box by Black authors. The more you can read by diverse authors, the more you will learn and expand your horizon, so I think it’s great they included two.
I loved this box – like I said, I think it’s one of my favourite boxes by BTM so far! What did you think of this box?
