Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon April 2020 | Hour One

It’s a new Readathon! I have participated in a few of these before but I feel like this one may be the first where I can just sit and read.

This round, I am trying to read just one book: Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. It weighs in at a hefty 804 pages, so here’s hoping I can get at least some of the way through it. I’ll admit there isn’t much else going on…

As always, there is an opening survey, so here’s my answers:

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? – I am reading from Hampshire in the UK!

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? – my TBR consists of one book… so that one!

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? – Cadbury’s chocolate 😍

4) Tell us a little something about yourself! – I am currently studying for a Masters in Crime Fiction!

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? – I have participated before. This time will be different as I am going to be reading one big book rather than multiple.

I normally do a few of the challenges, and I’ll actually try to blog them and update you guys today! You can also follow me on Twitter or Instagram for updates.

Are you participating in the Readathon? Let me know in the comments below!

Until later,
