Winter Biannual Bibliothon 2019| tbr

Hello all! Tomorrow is the first day of the Winter Biannual Bibliothon, and I’m excited to share my TBR with you guys. I know it’s kind of late in the game, but I’ve only just come back to university, so didn’t quite know what books I would have on me.

There are 7 reading challenges, but as I can’t get the group book at the moment, I’ll be aiming to complete six of them. You can check out the reading challenges here!

  1. Read the Group Book – Empress of All Seasons by Emiko Jean
  2. Read one of the hosts’ 5 star reads – for this one, I have chosen The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman!
  3. Read a book that got you into reading – i don’t have a book for this one, so I’m just going to be going with a crime book because I’m reading a lot of crime right now… so I will be going for The Locked Room by Paul Auster.
  4. Read an adult book – Ghosts by Paul Auster is technically a novella, but it’s in a physical book I own so I’m counting it!
  5. Combine your favourite genre with your least favourite format or opposite – I’ll be reading Fierce Fragile Hearts by Sara Barnard, a YA novel, on my kindle! I actually like my kindle, but I only read either hard copies or kindle books, so it was a choice between the two!
  6. Read a book with a cover you don’t like – I’ll be reading Ghosts by Paul Auster. Check out my Instagram for pics!
  7. Read a book by an author you’ve never read before – I’ll be reading The Idiot by Elif Batuman for this one!

So there you have my TBR for the Winter BIBIB! I’ve tried to combine books as I’ve come back to university, and my dissertation is due on the 15th. Aah!

If you want to participate in the BIBIB it’s not too late to join! Good luck!

Until next time,
