Harry Potter Spin-Offs The Fans Actually Want | blogmas day 2!

With all of the controversy around Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, I thought I would share some spin-offs that the fans actually want to see. And by “fans” I mean me. And by “some” I mean mainly the Marauders.

The Marauders

If you know me, you know my favourite Harry Potter character is Remus Lupin, so of course a 7-book and 8-movie series featuring this quartet would actually make my life. That’s all I’m going to say about this.

The Founders

We know bits and bobs about the Founders of Hogwarts – Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, Godric Gryffindor, and Salazar Slytherin – but I would really love a Fantastic Beasts-esque film following the Founders and their journey to creating Hogwarts.

The Ghosts

Perhaps this one would be better suited to a TV series (oh, by the way, Warner Bros – if you’re looking for a writer to write it, hello), like an episode for every ghost, but I would love to know some of the ghosts’ backgrounds. Like the Founders, we know bits here and there but honestly just seeing what really happened, with correct historical settings and clothing and culture and also why they all decided to become ghosts –yeah, that would truly be amazing.

Newt’s Fantastic Beasts Documentary Series

Come on – wouldn’t this be fantastic (ehehe). Instead of films with questionable canon accuracy, how about Newt doing an Attenborough-style docu series researching various beasts? I would love that!

I would honestly write all of these, it would be an honour (*ahem* Warner Bros, *ahem*), but I would definitely love to see them all on the big screen! What Harry Potter spin-off would you like to see?

Until tomorrow,
