I recommend books based on your blog #1 | Mindful Millie

I recommend you books based on your blog” is a bi-monthly series where I recommend a different blogger three books based on their blog content and blog design!

In the first of this series, I recommend books to the lovely Louise from Mindful Millie! Louise is a children’s writer and mental health advocate. She blogs about mental health, pregnancy, writing, and also being married young. Her blog is also so aesthetically pleasing and I had the biggest heart eyes when scrolling through!

  1. Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
I chose an old favourite as the first on this recommended list, for a few reasons. Louise blogs about her marriage a little, and because basically this entire book revolves around marriage, I think it would be perfect for her! It’s also quite a laid-back book, and Louise’s blog just screams “CHILL”! Not only is it called ‘Mindful Millie’ but I love the baby blue colour scheme.
  2. The Future of Us by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler
For similar reasons to P&P, I recommend The Future of Us. This book was really cool, and although I read it years ago I actually still remember it… apart from the ending, can’t tell you what happens there to be honest. It was a really cute romance novel.
  3. Room by Emma Donoghue
This one could probably a hit-or-miss for Louise! She recently blogged about moving to Sweden whilst pregnant (honestly that thought terrifies me!), and this book is told from the point of view of five-year-old Jack who lives with his Mum in Room. Whilst I didn’t love this book as much as every else seemed to, it’s such as fascinating read, and I think that Louise would really enjoy it!

I had so much fun doing the first post in this series, and can’t wait to carry it on!

Do you agree with what I recommended? What would you recommend to Louise?

Until next time,
